iPhone SDK 3.2 GM Seed

The GM release of the iPhone SDK 3.2 is available in iPhone Dev Center (login required). Even though this build is labeled as "GM" and this will probably be the final build before the iPad gets into the hands of consumers, and even though the official policy is that development material is covered by NDA until it goes GM, this build appears to still be under NDA, which means no iPad technical posts yet. Sorry.

The release notes and license agreement are pretty clear about the fact that this is still considered pre-release software, so the NDA is still intact and we have to wait a few more days before we can start discussing the nuances of iPad development. I'm assuming that come April 3rd, it will be considered "released". At least, I hope we don't have a repeat of the original iPhone NDA situation.

Very vague indeed... My early app submission never made it out of "In Review", but not sure if it even would. Now I'm being told to rebuild and submit, but without more info I'm hesitant to self-reject what's up there now just to replace it. I need Apple to release their newest product, ibuProfen!

My understanding is that it's a 'seed' in the sense of the ADC OS X software seeds— early access. I'd assume the official public release is on April 3rd.

You have to re-submit using the GM build. I'm hearing that from many people, even if your app has been approved, you have to submit a new build done with the GM tools.

Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!

I really don't understand why they are taking so much time to review an application. My app submission was made before a month and till the date it is "In Review". Hope it will be released soon.

What youre saying is completely true. I know that everybody must say the same thing, but I just think that you put it in a way that everyone can understand. I also love the images you put in here. They fit so well with what youre trying to say. Im sure youll reach so many people with what youve got to say.
