The authors of the OpenGL ES 2.0 Programming Guide have created Xcode projects for all the code provided in the book. This makes the book a lot more interesting from the perspective of an iPhone developer. Anyone read this book and have an opinion on it?
If you download the sample code for the iPhone 3Gs, make sure you grab the build instructions, as it's a little more complex than just opening Xcode and pressing ⌘B.

Good to know that they've published the iPhone projects.
The book is somewhat advanced, and new comers to OpenGL might find it difficult to read.
But OpenGL ES 2.0 is not easy to understand if you don't know OpenGL 1.x.
This is the only book I have regarding GL ES 2.0, and I think it is a good companion if you are going to develop for iPhone 3G S.
It covers lots of topics like shaders, framebuffers, how the pipeline works, the API, etc.
Its fairly advanced and assumes you understand 3d gfx pretty well to start, it is however very comprehensive
I adhere to what riq and Kieran say, for me (not knowing anything about Open GL ES 1.x) it's quite difficult to follow... (I'm reading it these days)
Certainly interesting and rewarding, but I'm considering buying a 1.1 book and start all over again.
Thanks for the reference to the projects! This will most certainly help me.
I liked the book quite a bit. I have read the Red Book and Orange book too, and have programmed Open GL for some time.
I give it two thumbs up and would recommend it.
Yesssss.... Yessssss....
I got this book but was "procrastinating" all the time thinking how great it would be if we had this especially for iPhone... ;)
Now i think i will finally get to reading it...
